Under Construction

Veterans benefits are for Veterans.

I realize how simplistic that sounds, but twenty years of dealing with Veterans has clearly demonstrated that some people who are not Veterans actually file for Veterans benefits.   It might be funny if it didn't waste a lot of people's time and resources that should be used for Veterans.   So please, if you are not a Veteran or the wife, child or parent of a Veteran, go away.

The VVIC tries to provide what services it can for the Membership, which includes Family Members.  Among these services are direction and advice in filing for benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs based on a Veteran's service in the Armed Forces of the United States.

The benefits provided Veterans of the Armed Forces of the United States exists because of legislation passed in the Congress of the United States.  The benefits are the result of decades of struggle and are intended for those who have served the nation, their spouses and their children.

Many of the Members of this group are severely disabled Veterans who have struggled for decades with the effects of our military service.  We have a deep understanding of how important these benefits are to Veterans and their families.   We have seen the differences these benefits make to people's lives, and the quality of that life.  For this reason, we take very seriously the mission to do what we can in this area.
