Unit Mission

We are a Warrior Society.  We exist for the mutual benefit of those Military Veterans of the Vietnam War who reside in Canada, and other areas outside the Continental United States, and who choose to become Voting Members of the Society.

Why are we a Warrior Society?

Well, for starters, we would not exist if it wasn't for the fact that we are all Warriors - Veterans of a war and that war remains a part of each of us every day.  No matter who we are, or appear to be, in the play that is contemporary society, there is a piece of us that still views you and the rest of the world through the eyes of a 19 year old combat Veteran.  The experience lives deeply within many of us.  And we remember.  Oh, we remember.  And in case one might be a bit slow, it should be remembered that we never stopped viewing life's journey not unlike a mission.  That might be a good view.  That might be a bad view.  But it certainly is a real view.

Additionally, we are aware that few organizations exist in Canada, and outside the United States,  for fellow Veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces whose experience did not include Vietnam.  We offer our assistance to these Veterans as well as Associate Membership.  Veterans of Afghanistan and Iraq are especially welcome to contact us.

We have no intention of fading quietly into history.   Not that we wouldn't choose that way all things considered, but it would seem that there is much work left undone in the world of Veterans Affairs.
